“The book launch of “Ballroom! Obsession and Passion” at the Kennedy Center was a magical evening.  I was so touched by how many people came to celebrate with me on the red carpet of the Hall of States.

The evening began with two little boys who wanted their arms signed, after watching the video monitors of my past performances.

Most of all I want to thank the outpouring of friends who attended – it is a night I will always cherish.

The event organizer for the Kennedy Center was truly impressed by the turn out for an unprecedented event.  For all of us in the ballroom community, it was an honor to be considered part of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.”
